The Hill 70 Quantock Red Angus program has been in existence since the Quantock Cattle Company purchased 20 Black Angus heifer calves in the fall of 1972. At the time it was a rebellious step to have a two breed operation, and today it is the norm.
300 Red Angus brood matrons call Hill 70 Quantock home as of the fall of 2014 and we look to the future with positive anticipation for what our Red Angus cattle have to offer in the marketplace.
We have never been afraid to think outside of the box and are quite proud of it - we do not chase trends. We use proven genetics with little tolerance for cattle who don't work for a living.
